Oops, overdid it with the brassicas

My brassica bed was full of brassicas on Saturday. Now my potato bed is also full of brassicas and they've overflowed to take up half the root vegetable plot too. I think I got a bit carried away with sowing them, as I now have 'so much space'.

New vegetable plot, 12 May 2008Luckily I know this guy with a tractor...

Sometimes I worry that I'm pathetically easy to please (some might say cheap). Expensive jewellery, designer clothes, flashy foreign holidays? Nope - a nicely ploughed new vegetable patch will do me just fine. Thanks, Mike!

Hi Amanda, I thought I come and have a look what is cooking in your kitchen! Your vegetable garden looks great."My vegetable gardener" ( I do the ornamental) has the same problems with the seeds. He just plantet lots and lots of lettuces because he doesn't want to get rid of them. Our neigbbours have huge gardens but only one other person plants veggies. Anyway my chookies love the green stuff too! The white trillium looks exquisite. Amanda I think in the long run you are much happier and healthier with soil in your fingers and the warm sun on your back, than all this schicki schnicki stuff! Happy gardening days, Amanda.

Thanks Titania! I have managed to grow a few flowers this year as well as all the multiple veggies, but I don't think my garden will ever look as spectacular as yours does. Thanks for stopping by!
