The main advantage will be being able to vote here (I've been feeling very disenfranchised ever since we arrived). And being able to have British and Canadian passports will give us all about as much freedom and flexibility in terms of travel and working abroad as it is possible to have (easier to travel to the US, for example). We will have to swear allegiance to the Queen as part of the citizenship ceremony (which will seem rather odd!).Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16642836504821695236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30590907.post-67800132470625558942011-09-05T02:33:18.435-04:002011-09-05T02:33:18.435-04:00It jolts me, this post. But I think I would find it hard to cut adrift from my roots. Can you be Canadian and English all at once?Esther Montgomeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05412078991551799972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30590907.post-25839538427160054892011-08-29T00:40:02.926-04:002011-08-29T00:40:02.926-04:00Congratulations, Amanda!
