Setting up home in a new country is going to be challenging. A bit like trying to cook a meal in someone else's kitchen. Maybe. This is a record of my experiences as I pack up my old life in England and start a new one in Ontario, Canada, with the aim of becoming more self-sufficient.

Amanda we had this happening most of the day in Kingston .. light rays randomly placed all over the sky above the city .. but of course I didn't have my camera at the time ?

When clouds do this I think of paintings with completely un-realistic, over-romanticised scenes which simply couldn't possibly happen - and then have to acknowledge, yet again, that they do.
