I approve mightily of the city's gung-ho approach to litter. Every garbage receptacle has an anti-litter message emblazoned upon it. Although I thought this one was a bit ambiguous...

Setting up home in a new country is going to be challenging. A bit like trying to cook a meal in someone else's kitchen. Maybe. This is a record of my experiences as I pack up my old life in England and start a new one in Ontario, Canada, with the aim of becoming more self-sufficient.

Ugh, that area gets so hot and humid at this time of year! I have a relative in Ottawa who says it's almost unbearable right now and is supposed to get worse - meanwhile our furnace came on this morning!
Nice things to say about Windsor? How about, It's not Detroit? (Sorry, Detroit.) Here in Montana it was 37 degrees F (not much above freezing) at ten o'clock this morning. Now, that's rude. Hope the conference is good!

That is an ambiguous sign! There seems to be something missing, like some punctuation!
