In the orchard, the apricot is in full blossom. It has been a wonderful day.

*Also known by the rather unkind Latin name of Tyrannus tyrannus.
Setting up home in a new country is going to be challenging. A bit like trying to cook a meal in someone else's kitchen. Maybe. This is a record of my experiences as I pack up my old life in England and start a new one in Ontario, Canada, with the aim of becoming more self-sufficient.

Amanda .. it is so satisfying to have wonderful days like this in the garden isn't it ? I think we are in for some rain this week .. good for the garden .. not so great for the deck ? LOL
Very pretty pictures !
Sometimes I look at a Latin plant name then at the plant and wonder how it got saddled with such an inappropriate name. Poor Apricot (lol)
